An intimate concert of love songs with some of Chicago’s most seasoned jazz musicians, reminiscent of a mid-century jazz nightclub.
Vocalist Terry Sullivan will perform with pianist Tom Muellner, whom national jazz critic Neil Tesser called “a pianist and tunesmith of stellar magnitude.” They will be joined by bassist Scott Mason, former head of Jazz and Contemporary Music Studies at the Chicago College of Performing Arts/Roosevelt University, who has performed with major jazz and commercial artists including Aretha Franklin, The Fifth Dimension and the Lettermen. Percussionist Jon Deitemyer rounds out the group; Jon has performed with artists from Patricia Barber to Renee Fleming and is a fixture in Chicago’s creative music community.
