About the Show

“From 70s soul to glowing strings, the cult outfit continue to illuminate the fringes of pop music, celebrating the beauty in small things. 4 Stars, Album Of The Week.” – The Guardian

UK-based, “sophisticated indie vets” (BrooklyVegan) Tindersticks released their 14th studio album Soft Tissue via City Slang. The band has also announced their first US tour in 16 years next year that will make a stop in Chicago.

Soft Tissue received early acclaim from outlets like BrooklynVegan, KCRW, Stereogum, Under The Radar and Vogue, who deemed frontman Stuart Staples “the consummate baroque pop singer.” In their 4 star review, Mojo proclaimed, “Soft Tissue is a magnificent reminder that few people know better how to arrange life’s broken pieces, how to orchestrate the chaos,” while Uncut declared the collection is “Stuart Staples’ crew at their best.”

Dante 360

Midway upon the journey of our life, I found myself within a forest dark, for the straightforward pathway had been lost.”

And so we all begin—in darkness.

Join Dante on his most famous journey through the depths of hell, levels upon levels of purgatory, finally discovering the light and glory of paradise. You will find terror in the wild beasts he meets along the way; and only moments later great hope at the strong woman, Beatrice, who leads him always upwards.

This contemporary staged performances of one of the most epic stories of the western world is an immersive, multi-dimensional production that leads you into Dantes universe. Returning to the stage for the 4th year, this year’s production.

Its heaven. It’s hell. But above all, it’s worth the trip.
