Philip J. Macaluso

Philip is thrilled to be returning to The Athenaeum after appearing in 2024’s production of Dante 360! Philip’s spent most of his life in New York’s Hudson Valley, where he earned his Drama degree from Vassar College, however Chicago has been his home since 2021. He’s appeared at Chicago Children’s Theatre (A Year with Frog & Toad), Citadel Theatre (The CottageAirnessIt Runs in the Family), Oil Lamp Theater (Failure: A Love StoryNever the Bridesmaid), and The Impostors Theatre (The Last Living GunFootholds Vol.4). He also regularly performs theater for young audiences with Greatworks Theater, recently completing his third season in Tubman: Road to Freedom.
