Marqell Edward Clayton

Marqell Edward Clayton is a professional singer, actor, and teaching artist based in LA. A native of California, Marqell has lived on both coasts and performed internationally. Some of his favorite credits include: Background Vocalist on BTS’ “Proof Live” feat. Anderson Paak as well as an unreleased Jon Batiste project. Theatre – Ain’t Too Proud pre-Broadway tour, 5th Avenue Theatre, Pioneer Theatre Company, South Coast Repertory, 44: The Obama Musical, and Rockwell Table and Stage. Film/TV – Playing With Beethoven (Heart on Fire Prod.), Complexity (CTM/Brandon Leake), Conan (TBS). Training – Cal State Fullerton BFA Music Theatre Program. Marqell also performs as an AGVA principal vocalist at The Disneyland Resort, lends his voice to various recording projects as a SAG session-vocalist, teaches and coaches privately through his company “EdClay Studios,” and is a sought after Music and Theatre master teacher. Marqell gives honor to God, from whom all blessings flow, and his family. Deuteronomy 31:6.
