Denise Smolarek is a Chicago actor and theatre director with a background in teaching.  She is thrilled to be a part of this dynamic production of Sophocles’ timeless tale.  Favorite theatre experiences include directing All Mixed Up (Barely Concealed) and The Water Children (Cuckoo’s Theater), and performing in Big Love (producing body) and The Shaughraun (Storm Theatre).  Recent film credits include Evil Usher (post-production), Hand Me Downs, A Mother’s Sacrifice and Vanished Out of Sight, which is currently showing on Lifetime.  But Denise’s biggest news is that she has recently become a Nonna! @smolarekdenise https://denisetsmolarek.weebly.com/
