Danyele Yvonne James, a South Florida native now in New York City, trained in vocal performance at Florida Atlantic University and graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. She has participated in various choral productions in Florida, including the Legend of Zelda Choir and Handel’s Messiah, and has performed at Carnegie Hall with pieces like John Rutter’s Gloria. Since graduating, Danyele has performed at 54 Below and is a founding member of Fused, a group known for genre mashups. They have showcased their work at Green Room 42 and performed in Iceland at the Green Hat. Danyele made her acting debut in Fancy Maids and presented Call Me from the Grave at an ASCAP workshop. She has also performed with Alvin Ailey, debuting “Sacred Songs” at the Whitney Museum. Currently, she is working on releasing music with her band FusedNYC this fall.
